Golden Sample FD Crimped Poly

Drawing on the same technical expertise behind our bags, we developed the Golden Sample collection using FD Crimped Poly — an advanced technical fabric originally developed for the (South) Korean military. Highly breathable, water and wind-resistant. The crimped yarn enhances abrasion resistance and provides slight mechanical stretch for greater mobility. Designed for everyday wear.

A lightweight technical fabric originally developed for the South Korean military, the FD Crimped Poly is soft to the touch, with a very matte texture, and is extremely water-resistant. The crimped yarn increases its abrasion resistance and also gives the fabric a small amount of mechanical stretch.

This fabric has a hydrostatic head rating of 10,000 mm, meaning it can withstand water pressure equivalent to a column of water 10 metres high before water penetrates through the fabric, as determined through hydrostatic head testing. The fabric also has a high breathability rating of 15,000g/m²/24h, helping maintain comfort and dryness during sweaty activities like trail running, hiking, or commuting home on the tram.
